So in an earlier post my MacMini kept locking up every time I left it on for long periods of time. I have since discovered the issue and while I wish I could say it was a RAM issue or some manufacturing problem it actually came down to a software problem. I have been slowly whittling down my iPhoto Library of 140000 pics using Duplicate Annihilator, which by the way is awesome. Anyway, I had been leaving it running overnight so as to finish quicker. Well for some strange reason my External HD that houses my library kept going to sleep even though I had it check for my HD’s to never sleep. I went through and unselected and then reselected this setting. I have since not had one single problem with this whole process, Thanks goodness. Anyway it is all working well again and I am now down to about 75000 pics thanks to duplicate annihilator.
