I continue to be amazed at the amount of add-ons out there for Firefox.  There is an add-on for almost anything you can imagine.  I just added one for facebook.  While this might not seem like such an important thing it keeps me from needing to have so many windows and tabs open.  It automatically notifies me of mail, comments and status updates as well as much much more.  There are add-ons for everything you can think of, technorati, stumbleupon, delicious and many others.  I know that if you install them all you will really cut down on your screen space but they can be helpful if you use the right ones for your needs.  Check out Firefox’s add-on page and see what you might find that is useful to you.  Firefox add-ons
